Kevin Donaldson, a pilot for a missionary group, recalls gunfire from a Peruvian air force fighter that downed their plane near Iquitos. Veronika Bowers and her infant Charity were killed. Jim and Cory Bowers survived. Donaldson was wounded in both legs and flown to hospital. He reported the fighter approached from the side and fired as the plane dove toward the river.
