Doderer bids farewell to Legislature after 34 years
Rep Minnette Doderer of Iowa City ends a 34 year career in the General Assembly. In a 27 minute House farewell she recalled the 1964 reapportionment fight the Vietnam era and her 12th term. She praised colleagues and noted changes toward women’s leadership and open politics.
