Caterpillar tops estimates on strong construction rebound
Caterpillar Inc. posted quarterly profit above estimates and raised its 2014 outlook as global construction demand is seen rising about 10 percent from 2013. The company warned mining will remain weak with an expected 80 percent drop from 2012 peak and flagged risks from Ukraine Russia tensions and a fragile global economy.
