Iowans Glad USS Iowa Back in Home Port After Explosion
Families hear from sailors aboard the battleship USS Iowa after last week’s blast. Greg McCann, 28, a personnelman third class, was four decks above the turret and reports hearing little, while Scott Hawes, a third-class petty officer, saw a puff of smoke from the No 2 gun.
