Amy Johnson Named Interim Linn County Supervisor
Cedar Rapids Amy Johnson formerly Horizons chief development officer was appointed to the Linn County Board of Supervisors to fill the District 2 vacancy after Linda Langston resigned to join the National Association of Counties in Washington DC. The special committee chose her over 10 other applicants, with County Auditor Joel Miller abstaining. Johnson hopes to be sworn in as acting supervisor by early May, serving until the November election.
