Cameras yield average of 41 tickets daily in Cedar Rapids
Red light and speed cameras have issued an average of 41 tickets per day in Cedar Rapids. Since March 14 three red light cameras and a mobile speed unit began operating, a fourth camera was added at Second Avenue and Third Street SW, reaching 1,240 tickets in 30 days with 727 additional possible violations not ticketed.
