Ceilings for Iowa Homes Not Received Yet
DES MOINES (RP) Iowa housing ceilings for rental and sale under the new housing order have not yet reached state offices. Harold R. McBride Iowa housing director says the order requires one fourth of new city dwellings to be rental with half at or below set ceilings and half of all homes built to be sold under a new price line varying by city. McBride will determine Iowa cities dividing line and administer the program, while priorities favor veterans and builders agreeing to sales or rentals under the line.
