Man Dies In Northeast Iowa Motorcycle Crash
A northeast Iowa crash on U S Highway north of here killed Hubert Allen Limkeminn, 2, of rural Denver, and injured three others. Stephen Taylor, 19, of Waterloo, and Limkeminn were riding motorcycles when Beverly Johnson, 26, of Janesville, pulled into a side road causing a broadside collision. Taylor was in critical condition. Johnson and her two-year-old son Gregory Jolson were in serious condition.

Four Arrested on Drug and Beer Counts Near Kirkwood College
Linn county sheriff's deputies arrested four people early Saturday on marijuana possession and minor in possession of beer charges. Trudney Glubka 18 David Sweeney 10 Michael Magner 18 and a 17-year-old were stopped in a car on Bowling street near Kirkwood College around 12 20 am. A substance believed to be marijuana was found in the vehicle. The four remained in Linn county jail Saturday with no bond set.

Waterloo Timothy Eugene Bell 20 of Waterloo died Saturday from a gunshot wound when his .33 caliber pistol accidentally discharged. The bullet entered his cheek and exited the back of his head, and authorities ruled the incident accidental.
