Britain says foot and mouth outbreak under control

Endeavour Launch Carries Robot Arm for Space Station

The space shuttle Endeavour lifted off from Cape Canaveral with a giant robot arm to finish assembling the International Space Station. The mid afternoon flight drew 20 000 guests including leaders and celebrities as NASA marked 30 years since Salyut 1. The crew featured members from Italy, the United States, Canada and Russia, its most diverse to date.
