Marion boy injured in bicycle collision with pickup
A Marion boy, Brian S. Tharp, was injured Friday afternoon when his bicycle struck the side of a pickup driven by Barry B. Smith. He was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital and treated. The accident occurred at Fourth Avenue, at Fifth Avenue and 19th Street around 4:35 p.m. Police said no charges were filed.
