Iowa City to get new low power FM radio station
Uptown Bill's Extend the Dream Foundation leads a group securing an FCC low power FM license for 105.3 in Iowa City with PATH Channel 18 support. The plan targets local news culture and arts with a potential five mile radius and a GoFundMe drive aims to raise 15 000 to 20 000 for engineering and equipment. Local content and a structured format are planned with possible student and resident pilots.
