Panera Bread plans second Coralville cafe on First Avenue
Panera Bread of Iowa lines up a second Coralville bakery cafe on First Avenue set to open in early fall with a drive up window. The 112-seat site, elevated above the 2008 flood, sits midway between hospital clinics as Coralville upgrades I 80 access. The new cafe will hire over 60 workers and expands Panera’s Iowa City metro footprint including Coral Ridge Mall and Sycamore Mall locations.
