Stained Glass Window Moves To New Entry At Iowa City Library
A 1903 stained glass window from the Carnegie Library home was moved in 1981 to the Iowa City Public Library entrance area. It was removed for cleaning and restyling, rehung in a second floor corner above City Plaza. The library closes for moving from Wednesday to April 29 and reopens April 30 with a temporary pedestrian mall entrance by the fountain at Dubuque and College.
