Bluestem contests the scope of impact and will meet with the DNR to discuss the citations.
The Iowa House approved a bill allowing universities to notify parents when substance abuse disrupts a student’s education. Opponents argued it creates problems between parents and students and targets only college students. The measure, sponsored by Rep Rosemary Thomson, now goes to the governor.
