Women’s Liburts Child Sparks Adolescent Disturbances
Psychiatrist Dr Derek Miller of the University of Michigan told an American College of Physicians meeting that while some aspects of the women’s liberation movement are valuable, it contributes to role confusion among today’s adolescents. He cited father absence during World War II and equal parental roles as factors, and criticized day care centers for neglecting infant welfare and relying on young transient staff.

Frozen meat could lower prices if consumer acceptance grows
A random AP survey finds housewives would buy frozen meat if it saved money. Supermarkets estimate 6 to 10 cents per pound savings if widely accepted, but consumers fear multiple freezes and quality loss. Key savings come from packinghouse prefreezing, reducing labor and transport costs, though chilling and equipment needs pose major hurdles.
