Cedar Rapids council approves zoning and licenses in session
The Cedar Rapids city council met in a regular session Wednesday on boulevard and highway 94. Officials rezoned multiple properties, granted cigarette permits to Nordstrom Oil Co and Town House Golf Course, and refunded permits for several licensees. They authorized private financing documents, accepted sewer easement, released a subdivision bond, and placed escrow for D and D Building Co. Public safety, parks, and concession agreements were approved, with petitions for zoning changes and ordinance readings on several rezonings and code updates.
