Public Safety Awards honor crime victim advocates
National Crime Victims Rights Week honors three crime victim advocates and a police officer. Kyle Paxton receives the Law Enforcement Victim Service Award for exposing abuse at Park Setting Elder Care Home in Marion. Marion officer Nicole Hotz earns the Domestic Violence Service Award. Holly Elliott of Dubuque County is cited for Victim Service excellence and training standards development.
