DES MOINES Iowa house weighs reconsideration of reapportionment as a senate committee introduces a compromise bill. Senate redistricting chair Duane Dewel outlines a plan to realign senate seats and boost house representation for the 11 most populous counties. Boy Five Survives Hour Inside Freezer Rescue

In Garden Grove California a five year old boy climbed into a locked chest freezer and slept through an hour at zero temperature. His mother found him with frostbite on hands and feet.
