Amanda Lea Hook born December 26 1981 in Maryville Illinois to Thomas and Denise Hook. She grew up in Williamsburg and Iowa City attended West High School and worked at Coralville Walmart while involved with Special Olympics and local support groups. She died April 8 2014 at age 32 after a four year cancer battle, survived by grandparents aunts uncles cousins and friends. Celebration of life set for April 11 2014 at Powell Funeral Home Williamsburg with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorials to Iowa City Hospice and Systems Unlimited Iowa City Chapter.
