Plane lands after warning light triggers on flight
An Allegiant MD-80 flight from Orlando to Cedar Rapids landed safely after the pilot detected a mechanical warning light. The 140 passengers were aboard. Airport crews responded to the Alert 2 incident as Flight 721 arrived at about 10:55 a.m., with Flight 722 delayed while the warning was checked.
