A civil service exam will be given April 24 at 9 a.m. in City Hall for the street maintenance superintendent post in Marion. The vacancy followed Jack Bross's promotion to public services director on April 1. Lightning strikes home during Sunday storms in Marion
Lightning hit the Terry Grisso residence at 1800 Daleview Drive causing damage to the northwest corner of the house and a gas pipe atop the meter. It was the only reported building strike in the city during the Sunday storms.
