The International Space Station becomes a regular sight as astronauts inhabit it since November and plan stays of about 15 years per crew. In December giant 240 foot solar wings were added to power the ISS, now visible two hours before sunrise or after sunset depending on geometry.
In February the Destiny laboratory arrived to the space station, enabling significant scientific work after early construction. Crew had focused on building the station while Destiny promises experiments advancing medicines materials and disease research. Mission patch marks the Destiny delivery.
