Hurricane forecast a bit above average for coming season

Colorado State University forecasters predict a busier Atlantic season starting June 1 with seven hurricanes, three at Cat3 or higher, and 14 named storms. They cite warm western Atlantic waters and uncertain El Niño odds, with updates due in May and August.

Former NASA scientist to lead National Air and Space Museum
