Coralville apartment blaze displaces eight residents

A Coralville fire at 946 Boston Way displaced eight residents after a Friday morning blaze confined to a second-floor unit and roof. Fire crews controlled the fire in about an hour, with smoke and water damage to the building and no injuries, though one person was hospitalized for an unrelated condition. Red Cross assistance provided. The cause is under investigation and not yet deemed suspicious. Fire departments from North Liberty and Tiffin plus police and EMS aided.
