State allows separate trials for mom and two sons killings
At a suppression of evidence hearing for Bruce Farris and Michael Rohn in the November 1982 murders of Jacalyn May and her two children, the state indicated it does not object to separate trials with one trial possibly set for April 25. Judges will rule next week on the suppression issues after testimony from detectives and witnesses. A jail shakedown yielded nunchakus and metal pieces found in another cubicle, not Farris's.
