Smoking tainted marijuana may damage lungs
The National Institute on Drug Abuse warns that marijuana cigarettes sprayed with Paraquat could cause lung damage. Officials say the contaminated product reportedly comes from Mexico and the U S government has spent about 40 million dollars since 1973 spraying fields. The Gazette contacted national officials after questions from Foundation 2 Cedar Rapids Crisis Intervention Center.
