Olin Community Mourns After State Wide Tragedies
Olin Consolidated Schools faced a somber week as a 17 year old student and two teachers died in separate auto accidents. Alison Zimmerman died near Cedar Rapids when her car collided with a semitrailer on Highway 30. Marcia Bandstra, 26, Stanwood, taught English and drama and died in a separate crash. John Freeman, 30, the P E teacher, also perished in the incidents.
