White House Easter Egg Roll through the ages
Grace Coolidge brought her raccoon Rebecca to the Easter Egg Roll in the 1920s while Calvin Coolidge enjoyed pets. Lucy Hayes started the White House roll in 1878 after kids asked permission. The National Park Service and notable figures including Janet Reno aid today’s events with stages and storytelling.
