R C Huber of Town City was treated at St Luke s hospital at 2 am Wednesday for a cut hand from an automobile overturn near here. He was released shortly after treatment and hospital officials did not learn details of the accident.

Mission Is Heated After Escape From Iowa City Hospital
Mrs. Charles Annan aged 40 escaped patient from the Psychopathic Hospital at Iowa City attempted to take her life Monday night. She was not moved to the county jail due to a lack of heat at the Sunshine Mission but later was found in possession of a bottle of poison. The Sunshine Mission is heated, Frank Ward, superintendent, stated.

Protests Over City Water Condition at Stehlik Home
Otto Stehlik of 1308 Second Street SE protested the dirty look and taste of city water at his residence. He reported the issue to Mayor W H Stepanek, who referred him to water works head H F Blomquist. Blomquist attributed occasional poor circulation to the Blomquist area and river conditions, noting extra alum is used to clarify water though ordinary carbon prevents a bad taste.
