Helen Josephine Saxton 86 died April 3 2000 in Mercy town City after a brief illness. Services at 10 a.m. Thursday at St Marys Catholic Church Oxford with burial Mount Calvary Cemetery. Rosary at 4 p.m. and vigil at 7:30 p.m. Arrangements with George L Gay Funeral Home Iowa City. She taught 25 years retiring 1976 from Clear Creek district. Survived by sons Donald Saxton Oxford and Robert Saxton of O Fallon Mo daughter Jean Saxton Coralville sister Sister Yvonne Jean LaCrosse Wis brother Harold Jean Dunlap Ill and many nieces and nephews.
