Iowa Internet poker bill likely dead in current form

Iowa lawmakers will continue work on a bill to legalize Internet poker but expect no progress in its present version. Senator Bill Dotzler notes it needs more work before approval. The measure would let players use casino accounts to play online against Iowans, with casinos taking a cut and revenue taxed. Senator Jeff Danielson says an amended version will seek a report from the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission.
