King’s Iowa appearance sparks 40 year reflection on participation
In 1967 Martin Luther King Jr urged Grinnell College students to engage in social change. Wayne Moyer organized a symposium to honor the message 40 years later. Iowa attendees recalled King’s non-violence call and love for all, linking his legacy to Civil Rights laws.
