Former C R pilot faces jury in civil suit over crash

Kevin Lynch, a 45 year old former Cedar Rapids helicopter pilot, sues the city and aviation officials for 3 million dollars alleging a negligent maintenance culture led to the June 11 1997 Hughes 269 crash that left him with permanent injuries.
