Pfc William Paultz of East Orange New Jersey with the 12th USAAF in Italy is tangled in what may be the longest letter received by a G I abroad. Originated by Mrs Olga Hook and Mrs Betty Clark of his hometown it is 12 yards long and filled with personal messages from fellow soldiers and families.
