Canseco to seek counseling over wife incident
Jose Canseco agreed to 26 one hour counseling sessions with a psychologist or similar professional to address an aggravated assault charge after allegedly ramming his Porsche into his wife's car. Completion could drop the case in November. It is unclear if Esther Canseco will join the sessions. The bill goes to Canseco who has a five year 23.5 million contract with the Athletics. Canseco was arrested February 13 after he allegedly struck his wife's BMW twice and spat on her window. The BMW suffered about 10000 in damage.
