Rogers may be next ambassador to New Zealand
Sen. Tom Harkin said he asked President Obama to nominate Marcia Rogers of Cedar Rapids as the next U S ambassador to New Zealand. Rogers, 56, partner at Management Resource Group, has deep Democratic ties and lived in New Zealand with her husband. Her son Ben Rogers interned for Harkin and another son attends the University of Auckland School of Law.
