Car rolls into pond after collision near Lake MacBride
A minor crash at Cottage Reserve and Mahaffey Bridge Road escalated when Marian Ciha 78 of Solon pulled off the road and her car rolled into a pond after a hit at 11 45 a.m. John Flack 77 of Iowa City was cited for failure to yield. Ciha was taken to Mercy Hospital for minor injuries.

Cedar Rapids Man Arrested After Threatening with Handgun
Nathan Brock, 23, of 1624 C Ave, Cedar Rapids, was arrested Friday after police say he threatened to shoot the next person of ethnicity. Officers found a .22 pistol and a 4 inch knife during the arrest on First Avenue and 15th Street. Brock is charged with interference with official acts with injury carrying a concealed weapon and felony possession of a firearm and remains jailed.
