Clarion Hotel in Cedar Rapids to undergo renovations under new owners
HRDMM Hospitality Services bought the Clarion Hotel and Convention Center at 525 33rd Ave. SW for 4.65 million and plans a three to six month upgrade. The six story hotel opened in 1976 as a Sheraton Four Points and will keep operating as renovations refresh lobby banquet spaces and the attached restaurant to attract more weddings and guests.
