Marine Corps entomologist Captain Philip Darlington, 39, of Cambridge Massachusetts, fought a 10 foot crocodile in a stagnant jungle pool and escaped with both arms torn. He kicked through a struggle, held the beast, and swam to the pool edge despite injuries and shock.
