Pipeline Nears Readiness for Midwest Refinery Complex
The six inch Salt Creek to Midwest refinery line is complete with four and a half miles of four inch feeder pipe left to lay. A Worthington pump from the East will test the system by pumping Platte River water. The line stores 6300 barrels and needs three days at 2000 barrels per day to fill. Numerous wells are flowing naturally, tanks are filling, and refinery buildings plus offices are under rapid construction.

A car with furniture and equipment for the Casper state branch hospital arrived Wednesday and is being unloaded. R B Forsyth will visit Casper next week to inspect the shipment as Wood & Foshay prepare installation. The modern facility includes electric elevator and steam heat. total cost nears 25 000 with extra expenses bringing the project to about 25 000. Opening date remains undecided pending installation completion and official plans.

Thirty three Mile Company vs Henderson case heard
A district court in Natrona County heard the Thirty three Mile Sheep and Land Company suit against Henderson over a wintering bill for roads ranch feed and supplies. Judge Matson granted a change of venue and the case proceeded with venue moved from Douglas to Casper. The claim was reduced from 80 to the amount ultimately awarded, with no judgment against the defendant for 46 dollars and no final verdict reported.
