Boosters head to Rawlins for state round up convoy
Seven autos loaded with Ous boosters left the city Monday bound for Rawlins to attend the state konv ention. The party includes Chalmers Elgin Townsend Morrison Schulte Noonan Wallace and other owners and passengers. Rain and mud delayed arrivals with some cars reaching Medicine Bow by Tuesday morning. A later stretch to Saratoga for a trout dinner is planned after the convention.

Barn Fire Destroys CY Ranch Structure Near Town
Last Monday a lightning strike set the CY ranch barn 40 by 180 feet east of town ablaze. A stallion died, several tons of hay and equipment were lost, and about 5000 feet of lumber plus other property were damaged. John Mahan estimated total loss near 1200 with partial insurance. rebuilding plans were not yet known.

Convict Escapeer Flees Penitentiary Road Crew
