Entry requires a company bring thirty enlisted men and two officers. A judging panel of three U.S. army officers will average subdivision marks for each company.
The company accelerates its pipeline project with vigorous activity at both ends. Sixty eight horses were loading supplies at the depot this week, while fifteen to twenty teams pace the road assistance. The firm bought 190000 brick from Charles Galusha and a similar amount from an Omaha firm for refinery buildings. Two carloads of material for the telephone line have arrived and are being laid along the right of way ahead of starting work.
Franco Wyom Company Dr Salathe and L J A Philippot inspected Salt Creek fields last Sunday and Monday. The doctor reports conditions far beyond expectations and says the oil industry is firmly established in Wyoming and may rival California fields. Natrona Pipe Line and Refinery Co ordered a telephone line to the field and will push pipeline and refinery work with vigor while Dr Salathe plans further development.
The Castle Creek Oil Company filed articles of incorporation with the state. Directors are B. H. Hopkins, Lee Champion, Edward Gillette, N. S. Wilson, and M. M. Kelly. Incorporators include J. H. Barnes Jr, W. D. Cheley, and N. B. Wilson. Wyoming agent is B. H. Hopkins.
The board of charities and reforms in Enne is deliberating state institutions. Plans call for opening Casper Hospital for the insane and epileptic asylum at Lander soon. L M Frawley of Independence Kansas arrived to review oil prospects and favors Salt Creek development as supply wanes.
