A Week of Prayer observance opens with union services at the Methodist and Baptist churches. Rev. W. Kingsley led the Baptist service Tuesday evening and Rev. R. Le Methodist Church spoke last night. Attendance at all meetings was very good and the series continues tonight.

Mrs. Boone Undergoes Successful Operation at Local Hospital
Mrs. Boone U T Hoone wife of the Wyoming & Northwestern superintendent underwent a surgical operation at Launder hospital a few days ago. The procedure proved highly successful and she is now recovering nicely. Mr and Mrs Hoone were dining with friends when she was suddenly taken ill and rushed to the hospital. Local friends hope for a complete recovery.

The Midwest Hi company bought 100 acres from the Carey company to surround the current refinery. A 624000 addition is planned to house refinery buildings storage and operating tanks.
