A Monday night anniversary dance hosted by the Eagles lodge drew a large crowd to the hall. Dancers received long stem roses for ladies and carnations for gentlemen as the floor committee organized ample dancing time and a big free supper met expectations. The Douglas band was praised as Wyoming National Guard’s official band, with Capt. KF De Castro leading and Esmay guiding rapid progress. An accident at Douglas left contractor J. H. Famary severely injuring his left hand, hindering clarinet play for the band. The County Pioneers' association will meet at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon with Mrs. J.M. Trevett.
