Box Car Fire Threatens Lumber Car Near Light Plant
A fire in a box car opposite the light plant was spotted around 11 PM Tuesday by an employee. The car owned by Nicolaysen Lumber Co held lumber. a short chemical tank shower extinguished the flames. Hoboes had used the car. a tramp who fled was arrested and released due to lack of evidence.

George Kletchly, visiting from Hudson, notes that on the 25th Indian coal mine owners will begin delivering 400 tons daily to the Northwestern railroad, boosting the coal camp. Relatives of Harry Crofts, killed near Lander, traveled with the remains to Rock Springs for burial after a fatal accident where a horse threw him onto a concrete crossing.

Boy Hurt by Accidental Rifle Discharge at Camp
Wilson Kimball Jr. was injured Saturday evening when a 303 rifle owned by Joe Mullen discharged accidentally. The bullet shattered a rock, sending fragments into Wilson's leg. Medical care was given at Blattenvery ranch and he is recovering, though limited use of the leg persists.
