Yellowstone Highway Association maps and marks road route

Gus Holm s field secretary for the Yellowstone Highway Association returns to Cody from Yellowstone Park to Colorado line aboard a cross state tour. He relogs the road with over a thousand yellow and gray markers and black H on gray signs placed along every mile to guide travelers. The state highway department will add standard signs from the Colorado line to Cody, including route No 11, danger curves and railroad crossings. Holm s notes the 1914 highway was pioneer and today is a boulevard, but maintenance and improvements continue from Casper to Thermopolis and Thermopolis to Cody while construction is underway. A road guide by L L Newton will compile town sketches to attract investment and keep travelers in Wyoming.
