Road Report Across Wyoming Trails Weathered By Rain

Grant Highway from Van Tascell to Shawnee is reported good with rough spots to Orin. Yellowstone Highway from Orin to Douglas is good except 700 feet at Indian Creek bridge. Careyhurst to Glenrock is good then rough toward Casper. Two drags between Glenrock and Casper should improve the route. more rain may affect conditions. Yellowstone west to Shoshoni was good yesterday with showers in territory. Salt Creek road between Casper and Salt Creek had rain on several stretches.

Casper Council Approves Pueblo Relief Aid

The Casper city council voted to donate 4500 to the Natrona county Red Cross for Pueblo flood relief. Jed Van Gorden thanked the council and wired Pueblo authorities to draw on the Casper chapter for funds. A relief effort coordinated by Mrs. Ralph Oaken and Mrs. J. C. British forces reach Gleiwits in Upper Silesia patrol

Detachments of the Royal Irish infantry became the first British troops to cross lines set by Polish insurgents in Upper Silesia. They detrained at Gleiwitz and entered the city amid Polish outposts, while German and Polish forces clashed nearby. A train journey proceeded with no molestation along the route.
