Pittsburgh 7 15 defeated by Boston 6 2 in a rain interrupted card. New York beat the Nationals 6 2 with strong batting from Odenwald and Morton. Chicago edge Philadelphia 8 6 while St Louis and Detroit split. Cleveland and New York also noted as wins.
Mexico reports to President Obregon that its answer to the US note on recognizing the present administration has been handed to George T. Summerlin American chargé d’affaires in Mexico City for transmission to Washington. The president said Washington papers regard the exchange as mere discussion on international topics.
Forum meets and hears renewed appeals for funds totaling 750 dollars as Casper residents contribute to the American Red Cross relief for Pueblo flood victims. Jack Leary says money and supplies are needed. Casper city has allotted 500 dollars, with 765 collected besides that.
Washington reports the Colorado delegation reached agreement with President Harding and Secretary Weeks on an emergency relief fund of one million dollars. The money would aid distressed districts in Colorado and be available within days for relief efforts, not reconstruction. Delegation members said Congress would treat the resolutions promptly.

Secretary Mellon stated there is no general graft in the internal revenue bureau amid reports from Kansas about tax collection graft. He noted one investigated case involving an attorney claiming influence for a tax reduction and said several former employees faced accusations but no government-wide corruption evidence.
London June 7 The executive body of the coal miners union issued a call for delegates to meet Friday to discuss the strike situation. Mr and Mrs F A Barrett returned Monday to their home in Lusk after visiting here with friends.
June 7 reports note a Senate move approving 1 million dollars for Colorado flood relief as Pueblo fights Arkansas flood debris. Authorities investigate the fatal shooting of E B Withers, a prominent businessman, in his car with his son Yollie, with an inquest set for later.
A baby boy arrived at 9 35 this morning at Hanway the newborn weighed eight pounds and was in good condition. The mother is reported to be doing well and the Tribune continues publication despite the event. N Edwards of Midwest Refining is in Cheyenne for a few days.
Grant Highway from Van Tascell to Shawnee is reported good with rough spots to Orin. Yellowstone Highway from Orin to Douglas is good except 700 feet at Indian Creek bridge. Careyhurst to Glenrock is good then rough toward Casper. Two drags between Glenrock and Casper should improve the route. more rain may affect conditions. Yellowstone west to Shoshoni was good yesterday with showers in territory. Salt Creek road between Casper and Salt Creek had rain on several stretches.
Dispatches from Manila report local business leaders pushing for independence and opposition voices to the Wood Forbes mission. The Philippine mission press bureau notes American influence and alleges some Igoro tribesmen acted under American missionaries. A Manila advisory says independence requires voter approval, while suggesting Filipino desire for independence is limited. Libby McNeill Libby to pay July 1 dividend unchanged.
New York June 7 The low sugar market shows weakness with prices down to 4% cents per pound for Porto Ricos the lowest in over four years.
The Casper city council voted to donate 4500 to the Natrona county Red Cross for Pueblo flood relief. Jed Van Gorden thanked the council and wired Pueblo authorities to draw on the Casper chapter for funds. A relief effort coordinated by Mrs. Ralph Oaken and Mrs. J. C. Warkley handles clothing, with Boy Scouts assisting in collection and errands.
Juna T. and Fred C. Robinson, grand secretary of the Elks lodge, wired $10,000 to Rush L. Holland for relief of flood sufferers and warned more funds would be sent if needed. After Natrona County High School graduation, Truth Kimball plans a Denver trip to visit her mother, Mrs. Floyd Tully.
Forces captured more than 100 Sinn Féiners in Mill Street after a clash in which three Sinn Féiners died and 12 were wounded. Crown forces were stated to be slight. Parliament opened in North Ireland with Hugh ONeill elected speaker and Sir James Craig announcing the cabinet.
Weber Commercial company transfers ownership on Second Street to Henry F. Brennan for four thousand dollars per front foot. Brennan plans to operate the two story building at Second and Center, remodel the store, and install a premier theater. The deal includes the firm’s $180000 stock and signals a major Caspers business shift after twenty years of growth under C. G. Schulte and Edward Behulte.
The house sent the naval appropriation bill to conference today without instructing the conferees on how to vote regarding Senator Borah's disarmament resolution.

Detachments of the Royal Irish infantry became the first British troops to cross lines set by Polish insurgents in Upper Silesia.
