Wrestler McLeod Backed by Crowd in Ring Clash

In Wheatland Wyoming last night a wrestling bout between George McLeod of Casper and Joe Blake of Wheatland sparked a near riot after P C Titus rushed the ring and knocked McLeod to the mat. Sheriff Homer Payne halted the match and ordered refunds as McLeod received treatment and was taken to a dressing room.

City Council Approves Vehicle Lease Warrants

May or Gordon and City Clerk Sloane report approval of a lease for a Triple combination Pump and Hose Car and Motor Aerial Truck with a $6,687.50 warrant due January 20, 1921. Pays second through fourth warrants totaling $7,891.25, $7,490, and $7,088.75 due January 10 across 1922 to 1924 with 6 percent interest. Adjournment followed. Christmas dinner notice at Methodist church with chicken pie.
