Paris reports Joseph Caillaux freed as three year sentence offset by time in solitary confinement. Senate officials ban him from Paris or any large city. he will move to the country. He previously arrived home with his wife and friends refusing to comment.
Revolutionary forces under General Arnaldo Gomez clash with Mexican federal troops led by General Murgia over Tampico oil fields. Dispatches say troops rushed from Nuevo Leon and Tamaulipas to aid Margis, who is in a dangerous position. Reports also note rebel advance near Colima and various loyalty shifts among officers. A shipment of army transport wagons passed through Eagle Pass to Mexico.
Mrs W E B Cummings of Billings Montana arrives in Casper after attending the national YWCA convention in Cleveland. She will address Casper business women Monday at 7 30 at the Episcopal parish house and present YWCA work at the Chamber of Commerce luncheon Tuesday at Henning hotel. The Monday session is open to the public and officers will be elected later in the evening.
William Vy of Guelph departed York today after a period in Cas ter on business duties.
Butte dispatches report Johnson carried the Montana primaries in a landslide with incomplete returns showing him ahead of all opponents. Wood likely second, Hoover close for second, Lowden and Harding trailing. no Democratic presidential contest though Hoover led in written-in votes. Johnson leads Wood about three to one in each return.
A detachment from Camp Lewis arrived for strike duty and the city of Butte remained quiet. Pickets were reported and a few miners began returning to work as Anaconda officials predicted normal operation to resume soon.
A Baptist church campaign supper set the Forward Movement in motion with 23 attendees pledging 4620 dollars, about 45 percent of the drive goal. Pledges ranged from 50 to 900 dollars as Dr. R L Lemons outlined fund use and Rev. J F Blodg explained Wyoming will receive 2.12 dollars per dollar from the board.
In a dramatic senate address Capper contends government cannot enforce the law and should resign. He cites wartime corporate profits swelling from 4.18 to 44 billion, reading a list of firms with profits from 2% to 200 percent and accuses Wall Street of shielded profits while labor suffers and crops break records.
Omaha reports General Leonard Wood carried the first and second districts over Hiram Johnson in the Republican preference contest with possibly four delegates at the national convention. William Jennings Bryan may secure ten delegates and Hitchcock six according to complete newspaper returns.

The United States announces recognition of the republic of Armenia in a note from Secretary of State Colby to Armenian representatives in Washington. The brief dispatch notes Armenia as a recognized state.
Allan A. Ryan is estimated to have made at least 22,000,000 from the State Motor stock deal. A settlement announced today requires brokers who were short when trading was suspended to pay with a share plus dividends, totaling 600 a share. The stock exchange suspended trading after a surge in price amid a corner claim.

Twenty five men enrolled in an intensive scoutmaster training course starting last night at the Episcopal parish house. The sessions continue tonight and Monday and Tuesday at 8 o clock in the high school gym. C B Stearns instructed knot tying and John J Piper explained the scout organization. Piper will address the Methodist church, court house council, and Episcopal church tomorrow. the public is invited.
The Pronequior's of herd announced the video justifies the trial of Charles Harvey, alleged bluebeard, who is facing charges for allegedly harming a number of wives. Los Angeles authorities planned prosecution while Idaho officials had shown no intent to pursue the case. Harvey will plead insanity as the case proceeds amid broader copper mine worker health notes.

Washington April 4 conferees on the army and navy pay bill reached a general agreement granting increased pay for all enlisted men in both services and for all commissioned officers up to the rank of colonel in the army and captain in the navy.

Premier Lloyd George and Premier Millerand announced a consensus on the Allied approach to Germany in enforcing the peace treaty after a three and a half hour conference. The plan, described as fully satisfactory, was supported by American reparations committee members and Sir John Bradbury. Hugh Urquart returned to Chicago from Casper on business.
In Albany on April 14 the New York state senate approved a bill to permit sale of 244 percent beer statewide and endorsed local option on beer in cities while defeating a measure allowing only 4 percent beer and 1 percent wine. The house action is pending.
