Croconole Party Delights Guests At Elegant Home

A lively Croconole and bean guessing event at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J A Bertoise drew neighbors and friends for a stylish evening last Saturday. Ferry Boat Under Construction Aids East Cascade Settlers

D P Barber advances travel between Cascade and east side settlers along the Kettle river. He builds a commodious ferry to operate near Wilfrid Baumne residence, replacing a washout bridge previously attempted to link Marcus. Project will take at least two months and use several thousand feet of lumber with a cable added during ice conditions.
